Working from her West Preston studio, Julie Carter specialises in commissions, creating contemporary pieces from gold, silver, precious and semi precious stones. 

Julie graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Bachelor of Arts in Gold & Silversmithing) in 1986. Since then, she has been designing and making jewellery commercially  and has exhibited both in Australia and overseas.
